Storyline: Maharaja, a middle-aged man a successful barber lives with his sexually exploited daughter Jothi and Lakshmi in a comparatively calm and peaceful locality. This scene reflects the authorities’ condescension toward Maharaja when, telling the police about masked intruders’ attack and the theft of Lakshmi’s belongings, he cannot be believed due to the disbelief in her loss. However, Maharaja still wants to protect his daughter from the unpleasant situations, and, after several attempts to have the truthful information disclosed, he wants to check the case personally before his daughter comes back. The plot, the suspicions, and even Maharaja’s sanity added to the escalating conflict of the film.
